About Dr. Leah Urbanosky

Picture
As a former competitive gymnast, I experienced first-hand the good work of talented orthopaedic surgeons. While healthy now, as a young woman I was treated for ankle, finger, knee and back injuries. I understand what it feels like to be a patient and I also understand an athlete’s determination to return to the game.

As a medical student at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, I discovered my passion for orthopaedics. Over the past 18 years as an orthopaedic surgeon, I have perfected a high-touch, high-tech approach. I use the best of the latest techniques and technologies. I give all my patients a carefully considered diagnosis, treatment plan and same-week surgery date if necessary. My patients don’t wait if they are in pain.

Should you experience an upper extremity injury or condition and you live in the Chicagoland area, I would be pleased to consult with you. You can reach my Hinsdale Orthopaedics office at: (708)-387-1737.

Testimonials

Dr. Urbanosky did a complete right shoulder replacement and rotator cuff repair for me in 2011. I met with her and she immediately recommended both an X-ray and MRI. Through each step, she showed me exactly where my problems were and what they looked like. She is very professional and personable, with a quick smile that put me at ease.  -Steven

I highly recommend Dr. Leah Urbanosky.  - Dixie
